Stone Design FAQs

Every estimate for granite counters should include:

• The exact material, thickness, and color desired
• The exact square footage for the project, including the backsplash
• All fabrication costs including the template, edges, cutouts for sinks and cooktops, faucet holes, sink mounting, etc.
• The cost to remove and discard your old countertops
• Sinks and faucets, if applicable
• Plumbing, including disconnecting the old items and reconnecting the new fixtures
• All dates, especially the template and install dates

We NEVER hire subcontractors for our work. Our installers are actual employees of Stone Design.

Other companies may sell granite, but they don't fabricate or install it. Therefore, these big box stores find other companies, like Stone Design, to actually fabricate and install your granite counters.

Many companies send you to Columbus or Louisville to choose your slabs. When you're shopping for granite counter tops with Stone Design, simply come to our gorgeous showroom or one of our importers. We're located right here in Cincinnati!

You can choose from hundreds of colors and different combinations. Each can be tailored to your specific preferences and needs to create your ideal granite counter tops. We also have a selection of eco-friendly stones made from recycled materials.

Don't worry about calling a plumber! Stone Design has a licensed and bonded plumber on staff. The plumbing will be disconnected before the project and reconnected when your granite counter tops are fully installed.

Our experienced staff will offer their expert advice and can provide all the necessary support for countertop overhangs.
